Citizens Advice Northumberland - Parents with School-Aged Children Seeking Advice

Citizens Advice Northumberland working in conjunction with North East Combined Authority are helping parents, carers and staff of schools within parts of Northumberland to access advice to help prevent child poverty. This service is only for parents / carers / staff and requires a password which can be obtained from your child's school if they are part of our project.

We aim to make contact with all referrals within three working days however our response time is generally a lot quicker.  Calls may come from a withheld number due to homeworking.

Who can use this service?

This service is only for use by parents / carers / staff of schools working with us.  If no (or an incorrect) passcode is provided in the "reason for contact" then the referral will be rejected and details of our traditional access routes provided.

How are services delivered?

In the main assistance will be provided by telephone unless another channel of advice is deemed more appropriate by ourselves.
