Northumberland Fire and Rescue Services - Extinguish

Extinguish is a fire awareness programme designed to support and educate children and young people up to the age of 18 who may play with, or who have a fascination with fire inside or outside of the home. Whether this be a one-off incident or repeat activity, our programme can offer support. We do this through games, videos, quizzes and 3D interactive videos. We look at how the young person is reacting and develop a suitable learning experience for them, making the programme truly bespoke to each person.

We work closely with other organisations, parents and carers and when someone has been identified as being at risk of firesetting, we provide our engaging fire safety education. To find out more click here : Extinguish Programme

If you know or are worried about a child or young person who plays with or you may think has a fascination with fire, please complete our online referral form and one of our team will be in touch to talk this through with you further.
