Adapt (NE)

Adapt (NE) offers a range of community services to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, mental health problems and those who live in a rural location. Transport services include a dial-a-ride bus service and the Getabout scheme. Our community cafe , open on weekdays 9-3pm, is fully accessible and has a Changing Places toilet. We also offer a general advocacy service.

For social prescribing services please refer directly into :Northumbria PCN: Social Prescribers or West Northumberland PCN: Living Well Coordination Service (Social Prescribing)

Adapt (NE) also delivers Healthwatch Northumberland, again you can refer into them directly.

Who can use this service?

Anyone can use our services. To use our transport services you will need to become a member which incurs a small charge.

How are services delivered?

Face to face, telephone and homevisits.
