BRIC aims to support individuals of all ages and abilities with their journey back to work.We have more than 20 years of experience in providing IT support for computer users of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are an absolute beginner or you just want to enhance your computer knowledge, we’re happy to help. We run drop ins to use our computers for things like job searching or applications etc. as well as digital skills training courses.
Drop Ins :Anyone can come to our drop ins to use our computers for things like job searching or applications etc. If more comprehensive help is needed, one to one support is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for all things employability related. The support provided entails the following: creating or maintaining your CV, help registering on job sites, application assistance, help with Universal Credit and interview preparation. Drop in times as follows: Monday 1pm -3:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am – 12pm(Appointment only) Wednesday 9:30am – 12pm, Thursday 9:30am – 12pm, Friday 9:30am – 12pm.
Digital Skills Training (at BRIC) : Our digital skills training course helps individuals enhance their IT knowledge completely free of charge. Whether you’re just looking for a refresher or starting from scratch, all abilities welcome. Our classes are small and the training is tailored to the needs of the client. There are three weekly afternoon classes, clients can choose which day (1) that would best suit them depending on availability. This training is none accredited. Course times as follows :Tuesday 1 – 3pm, Wednesday 1 – 3pm and Thursday 1 – 3pm.
